The makeup industry unfortunately has encouraged and normalised VERY cakey and contoured makeup.
In artificial lighting it looks amazing – blurring anything in its path, the contoured edges (no blending required apparently…) and emphasising the highlights.
However, in natural lighting – aka normal life, it looks like clown makeup and sadly this has been the norm over the last 10 years.
There should be more commercial transparency with how the product reacts in REAL LIFE.
In my reviews I will include a picture of the product taken in natural light only and a review of the product I’ve tried personally.
